About Caymus Partners

Caymus Partners was originally founded in 2010 by Darci Crow to provide recruiting support to a startup firm. In 2022, longtime colleagues Darci Crow and Erin Taft came together with a renewed vision: to build a recruiting firm that prioritizes relationships, transparency, and long-term impact. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in executive and technology recruiting, the founders relaunched Caymus Partners to challenge the traditional agency model and deliver smarter, more strategic hiring solutions.

Darci is an accomplished executive recruiter and talent strategist with over 25 years of experience in the technology and professional services sectors. After earning her degree from Kansas State University, she began her career in technology before quickly transitioning into executive search and technology recruiting, where she discovered her true passion.

Throughout her career, Darci has partnered with clients across diverse industries and organizations of all sizes — from innovative start-ups to global corporations — both locally and nationwide.

She has played a pivotal role in building and scaling high-performing staffing and professional services firms, two of which were successfully acquired. Working closely with the founders, she helped lead these companies from early-stage growth to multimillion-dollar operations, overseeing everything from business development and client delivery to operational infrastructure and team leadership.

Darci is trusted by executives for her insight and expertise, not only helping to build high-performing teams but also supporting leaders in advancing their own careers. She has a remarkable ability to recognize the unique strengths of every individual she meets, with a mission to guide people toward their career goals — whether directly or through meaningful connections.

When she’s not working, Darci enjoys planning her next vacation or remote work destination — most likely involving snow skiing or relaxing on white sandy beaches.

With an entrepreneurial mindset and a sharp eye for talent, Erin has built a reputation for making thoughtful, strategic placements that create long-term impact.

Known for thinking outside the box, Erin has a unique ability to see beyond what’s printed on a resume — uncovering the true strengths of candidates and matching them with opportunities that unlock their potential. She’s also a relentless researcher, often sourcing high-caliber talent that others overlook. Her deep-dive approach to search led to one particularly game-changing placement — the hire of a key executive that helped a client expand operations and open an entirely new office in another state.

Erin has successfully placed C-level executives across the country, including CIOs, CTOs, CMOs, CFOs, CLOs, and COOs. She has led national-scale recruiting efforts for an S&P 500 company, managed high-volume hiring initiatives under tight timelines, and negotiated multi-million dollar compensation packages.

A Kansas City native and proud UMKC alum, Erin leverages her deep community ties and expansive network to build lasting relationships that drive results.

Her experience spans early-stage startups to enterprise organizations, including her leadership role at Innara Health during its acquisition by Cardinal Health—where she was instrumental in streamlining operations and aligning cross-functional systems through a complex transition.

Cassie’s career is rooted in building operational infrastructure that scales. From managing accounting workflows and HR systems to overseeing documentation and vendor processes, she excels at connecting the dots across business functions to drive clarity, compliance, and consistency. Known for her positive attitude and ability to think outside the box, Cassie brings a creative and solutions-oriented mindset to every challenge. Her ability to bridge strategy and execution makes her a valuable asset in supporting both internal operations and client delivery at Caymus Partners.

Cassie earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Outside of work, Cassie enjoys spending time with her family—whether relaxing by the backyard pool, heading to the beach or lake, or staying active. She fits in workouts through structured routines or by chasing after her daughter and their playful new puppy, Bodie.
