When you authenticate with our application via LinkedIn, we may collect the following information based on the permissions (scopes) you grant:

  • Profile Data: Name, profile photo, headline, and vanity URL.

  • Contact Information: Primary email address associated with your LinkedIn account.

  • Professional Identity: Your LinkedIn Member ID (a unique identifier).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information collected from LinkedIn strictly to:

  • Authenticate your identity and provide secure access to our services.

  • Personalize your user experience within our application.

Notice on AI: We do not use any data retrieved from the LinkedIn API to train, tune, or improve large language models (LLMs) or other artificial intelligence systems.

4. Data Storage and Retention

  • Caching: We adhere to LinkedIn’s strict caching policies. Profile data is cached for no longer than 24 hours, and social activity data for no longer than 48 hours.

  • Storage: We only store your Member ID and basic profile info as long as your account with us remains active.

  • Deletion: We will delete all data retrieved from LinkedIn within 30 days of a user request or account termination.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or lease your LinkedIn data to third parties. Data is only shared with:

  • Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting) necessary to run the application, who are contractually bound to maintain data confidentiality.

  • Legal authorities if required by a valid subpoena or court order.

6. Your Rights and Controls

You can manage or revoke our application’s access at any time by visiting your LinkedIn Permitted Services settings. You may also contact us at the email below to request a copy of the data we hold or to request its immediate deletion.
